Turbo Battle Tanks version 3.0

Finally, after months of work, we can release the biggest update we have done so far.

Graphical & Gameplay (major) improvements :

That is what we worked on the most, the game as it was before that update was to test the project and was not really beautiful. But now, the game looks a lot better, let us show you what changed.

Tank design 

• The basic tank has now a brand new more detailed look (it is the same in blue).

• The cosmetics are gone, but we replaced them with something way more interesting : new tanks to play.

You can now play 3 different tanks, isn't it cool ?

• The tanks now leaves particles according to the ground they are driving on.

Maps

Remake the maps is the most important job we've done. Before the 3.0, there was 20 soulless & ugly maps. We choose to reduce the number of maps in order to make them special and more detailed. The game now has 10 unique maps (5 industrial themed and 5 jungle themed).

Here are two of them, to show you the improvements and gameplay features that changed.

• The first important thing is that there is no more (visible) border walls, but the bullets will still bounce at the border of the screen, and you are not able to cross the borders as well.

• Then, all vehicles (even broken ones), some small objects and wooden logs are now moveable ! Be aware, the battlefield will now change during the game.

• For the jungle maps, as you can see in the picture, we added a "transparency" feature when the player goes under a tree, so you will never lose focus.

• We also changed the way the bullet's physic was done. The bullet will no longer have a different speed at some moments, it's full speed all time baby.

• The respawn chopper will now drop you at the right angle, so you can start the next round just like the last one.

• The menu's backgrounds have been redone as well.

• There is more small quality of life improvements done to the game, that you can discover while playing it.

Final words

With this new update and all those changes, we need your feedback more than ever. The game is still in early access, so bugs are likely to happen.

Since a lot of features are new, it might change in the future, because some of them will likely need some adjustments.
